Welcome to the Mobile Sports Authority!Mobile's a scenic place for a variety of sporting events!
You may already know Mobile through nationally-televised
sporting events such as the Senior Bowl, GoDaddy Bowl, and
the Mobile Bay LPGA Classic. We're a city where sports venues hold scenic locations: football in historic districts, golf under centuries–old oaks and rugby and
youth soccer alongside the World War II Battleship U.S.S. Alabama.
The Mobile waterfront provides a combination of venues and
access to rivers, Mobile Bay, the nation's largest inland delta
and the Gulf of Mexico. Our coastal location also moderates the
temperatures, keeping summers cooler and winters warmer
with average highs in the 60s, even in January.
Events which the Mobile Sports Authority have brought to and/or supported in Mobile County since we opened our doors in 2008 include the sports of bass-fishing, youth football, pre-Olympic weightlifting, youth taekwondo, collegiate golf, high school and youth basketball, both men’s and women’s rugby, auto racing, arm-wrestling, softball, body-building and fitness competitions, pre-Olympic boys and girls junior boxing, pro boxing, track & field/cross-country, adult/senior softball, disc golf, youth baseball, kickball, tennis, competitive roller derby, and even a pole-vaulting competition on Dauphin Street. Our staff is always working to bring both traditional and non-traditional sporting events, such as The Color Run, to the Mobile, AL area. If it’s a sports competition that could bring visitors to our beautiful Mobile County area, then we’re interested in talking to you.
