Share The Mobile Sports Authority (MSA) is a 501c(4) non-profit organization created to attract regional, national and international sporting events and sports-related business to Mobile and Mobile County. The MSA is our community's clearinghouse and main point of contact for sports and sports-related events and is committed to developing the Mobile region's sports product. The Mobile Sports Authority brings sporting events and activities to the County and City, enhances economic impact, stimulates bed tax revenues, and maximizes utilization of County and City facilities.
The main funding sources for the MSA are the Mobile County Commission and the City of Mobile. We want to thank both of those governmental entities for the support we've received over the last 5 years. With the City and County's assistance, the Mobile Sports Authority has been able to attract and/or support numerous visiting sporting events to the Mobile area which have generated over a $50 million estimated economic impact to the area.
