This second-time youth lacrosse tournament will be held at Battleship Park and will feature approximately 50 teams competing with most of those teams traveling in from upstate Alabama, as well as from Florida and Mississippi. Lacrosse has become one of the fastest-growing youth sports in the U.S. and will most likely be approved by the AHSAA in the future as a sanctioned varsity sport.
