2019 Gears and Beers 5th Annual Bike RaceCycling
- Nov 9th, 2019
- Start Time: 7:00 am
- End Time: 5:00 pm
Location Information
The Gears and Beers Ride is a collection of four bicycle rides and a street party that raises money to support the various community-based programs of the Delta Bike Project. Riders can choose from four distances – the 8.1 mile Beignet Buster; the 30-mile Swamp Romp; the 63-mile Mystic Metric; and the 100-mile killer, aka The Bayou 100, which is part of the Alabama Backroads Century Series.
Due to increased ride participation, the start, finish, and after-party will be held at the Fort of Colonial Mobile (Fort Conde). This provides a safer, more enjoyable ride experience, and one that includes a little history.
Gears and Beers is held every year on Veteran's Day weekend. A $15 discount is given to all active duty military, retirees, veterans and Reserve/National Guard. Please contact jgreene@deltabikeproject.org for a discount code. Thank you for your service to our country.
Online registration closes October 31, 2019.
