2025 Port City Football Classic Football

Alabama State University will host Mississippi Valley State University in the 3rd Annual Port City Classic at Ladd-Peebles Stadium on Saturday, November 15, 2025.  The Port City Classic is the ultimate "party with a purpose" combining entertainment, education, and celebration of African-American culture and heritage.  There will be several events leading up to game day.

Schedule of Events

HBCU Golf Tournament - Heron Lakes Country Club - Friday, November 14 at 7 a.m.

Black Business Expo - Mobile Convention Center, Friday, November 14 from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

HBCU Cheer Clinic - Williamson High School - Friday, November 14 from 3 p.m.- 6 p.m. and Saturday, November 15 from 7:30 a.m. - 9 a.m.

Jokes & Notes - Comedy and Concert - Mobile Convention Center, Friday, November 14 at 8 p.m.

Port City Parade - Downtown Mobile - 10 a.m. 

The Port City Classic - Ladd-Peebles Stadium - 4 p.m. kickoff
