2023 Port City Football Classic Football

Alabama State University will host Grambling State University in the Inaugural Port City Classic at Ladd-Peebles Stadium on Saturday, November 4, 2023.  The Port City Classic is the ultimate "party with a purpose" combining entertainment, education, and celebration of African-American culture and heritage.  There will be several events leading up to game day.

Black Business Expo featuring Roland Martin - Mobile Convention Center, Friday, November 3 from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

HBCU Cheer Clinic - Williamson High School - Friday, November 3 from 3 p.m.- 6 p.m. and Saturday, November 4 from 7:30 a.m. - 9 a.m.

Port City Comedy Show featuring D.L. Hughley - Mobile Convention Center - 8 p.m.

Port City Parade - Downtown Mobile - 10 a.m. 

The Port City Classic - Ladd-Peebles Stadium - 4 p.m. kickoff
