<p>Sanctioned by USA Cycling, the Saturday August 29th Criterium, aka the "Crit", will take place at Commerce Park in south Mobile County (off Rangeline Road) and will also serve as the the Alabama State Crit Championships for various levels. This relatively easy course is wide open with very little technical skills needed and nice smooth pavements. </p>

<p>On Sunday, August 30th, the event continues at Commerce Park. Riders will be challenged by the course with it’s U-shaped design. This circuit race will take riders on a 1.7 mile loop with a 180 degree turn and a short technical section on the far side with no elevation - this circuit should be fast.<br />

<b>Day 1, August 29th - AL State Championship Criterium - Commerce Park</b><br />
- Race Start: 3:00 PM<br />
- Race Ends: 7:30 PM<br />
- All races based on skill categories for men and women. <br />
- The series of races last between 20 and 60 minutes.</p>

<p><b>Day 2, August 30th - Commerce Park</b><br />
- Race Start: 9:00 AM<br />
- Race Ends: 1:00 PM</p>
